The more professional unbranded versions will look exactly like as if it comes directly from you as if it's been sent directly from a personal professional e-mail program such as Microsoft Outlook or any other regular e-mail system you may use.

Since Otto will be set up on its own Hosting Service, it is possible to also use it for your Web-hosting needs, or for your web-development needs, if you want to keep this as a "staging" or development web-site. You can also use it for any other applications you may want to use (such as your regular e-mailaddress(es), databases, blog, CRM-system, Project management system, E-commerce system or similar). If you have hosting elsewhere, you need to choose a new domain such as COMPANY.INFO or COMPANY-MAILER.NET or any other as you wish. NOTE: If you plan on using the hosting system for business-grade web-site or applications, it is strongly recommended that you use Otto Enterprise or upgrade to the Silver Hosting Plan.

How many sender-addresses do you need?
Since Otto will be set up on a mail-server only for you on your own Hosting Service with its own domain, it is possible to also use it for your regular e-mail need. Even if you would use another e-mail domain for your primary e-mails, you may want to have different senders, e.g. different sales representatives, the CEO, a technical expert or any other Guru.

Professional Hosting
Since Otto will be set up on its own Hosting Service, it is possible to also use it for your Web-hosting needs, and/or for any other applications you may want to use (such as your regular e-mailaddress(es), databases, blog, CRM-system, Project management system, E-commerce system or similar). If you use it for the same system, it's also possible to use the exact same web-domain for your Sequence Marketing E-mails. If you have hosting elsewhere, you need to choose a new domain such as COMPANY.INFO or COMPANY-MAILER.NET or any other as you wish.

Why do I need to choose a domain name first?
Otto is a more than just the regular web-service. Behind the simple to use Otto web-service, there's a complete system with your own database, your own hosting account, your own mail-server and your own scheduling software set up only for you for highest integrity and security.

It means that your e-mails are actually sent out from an e-mail address that you own, rather than just behalf of you, from someone else's e-mail domain, which is how it works if you use our competitors. It also means that your contacts are not just stored in one and the same system mixed with every other clients on the system, but your list database is 100% owned and controlled by you only.

Because of this, Otto needs to be set up on a domain you own, and a domain can not be registered for less than a year and is non-refundable by domain registrar rules, so a part of the first monthly payment goes directly to the domain registrar, and you can use it for anything else if you for any reason would not like to use Otto.

What domain-name should I choose?
You have two alternatives:
A. If you already have your web-site hosted on your primary domain and don't intend to let us help you move the site over to the hosting you can get with Otto, then we suggest you pick a name such as COMPANY.INFO or COMPANY-MAILER.NET for your Otto-trial or -product.
B.
