Keep it simple!
One thing I have been thinking about a lot, is how complicated your brain can make
things. If you spend too much time thinking and analyzing a task you will
never get it done. There is even a complex word for it:
Procrastination, which must be the opposite of keeping it
So in sales and marketing there are mainly two things you need to focus on,
convincing the customer that you have the best offer and getting them to
like you enough to choose you over someone else. Because if a person doesn’t
like you, you will have a very hard time convincing them to purchase your
product or service. So instead of overanalysing things, just do them.
Of course you still have to prepare and take your work seriously, but
remember to keep it simple. A problem most likely will have two or more
solutions. And it’s your choice on how to solve it.
Bill Gates once said that:
I will always choose a lazy person to do a difficult job because he will find an easy way to do it.
Regardless if it is the customer or yourself that will gain the most from the job, getting it done quickly matters.
So get things done and be one step a head.
